Business Experience

  • I built my first website in 1999, writing the code in plain text. Since then I’ve built and/or managed about 30  sites mainly for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
  • I began coaching in 1999. Beginning in 2002, I have been working with organizations in strategic planning, construction of and revisions to bylaws, as well as strength-based evaluations. I wrote the book Fix My Bylaws: A simple plain-English guide to customize the bylaws of your nonprofit organization.
  • From the late 1980s through the late 1990s I produced big events for nonprofit organizations here in Baltimore. These events ranged in size from the Baltimore City Fair, a three day long celebration of life in the city, to exhibitions for the Fund for Educational Excellence, to fund raising events for the Baltimore Opera Company. I traveled 16 days with the Carson and Barnes Circus on behalf of the Maryland Mental Health Association.
  • For four years in the early 1970s, I was a process control analyst for Bethlehem Steel Corporation at Sparrows Point in Baltimore, MD
  • From the mid 1970s through the late 1990s I ran a small crafts business, producing framed painted paper cuttings that I sold to gift shops and galleries across the country.

Education

As a coach

I work with people who are ready to challenge themselves to do big things: small business owners and high performers in corporate settings, people on the move, people who want to see change and results.

I also work with adults who have attention deficit disorder, people with endless ideas and plans, people who have too many ideas, who know they are capable of more and want to prove it.

About my family

I have had the same husband for a very long time.
We have three children.
They are all out of school and doing well.
None of them are axe murderers!
