Handel Choir of Baltimore

. . . enhancing the cultural life of Baltimore through performance of high quality music and reaching out to educate and inspire children.

Classical music—old and new—unerringly captures our imaginations. We cannot help but be enlivened, challenged, disturbed, comforted, transfixed, transformed—and thus profoundly enriched. These are captivating musical expressions, ideas and emotions, and each composer’s offering contains an unending wealth of riches for the imagination and the heart! In 2008-2009 the Handel Choir celebrates the miracle of music in four concerts: Bach & Handel, Handel's Messiah, and Haydn's Kettledrum Mass (Paukenmesse), plus a French twist—the exquisite Requiem by Maurice Duruflé. Concerts feature instruments and distinguished guest vocal soloists in a fine variety of intimate concert settings. Read on—there are exciting musical experiences for you, and you must join us for them!
